Credits
Selling credit packages
Set up payments, create credit packages like 10 credits for a set price, and let players buy them from your profile.
Overview
Credits are how players pay you in Padel Fast. Players buy a credit package from you up front, paid by card, and then spend the credits on your activities and tournament entry fees, with no card payment needed each time.
- Packages — what players buy with money, for example 10 credits for a set price. This guide covers them.
- Activities — what players spend credits on, like “Open play” or “Court hour”, each with a price in credits and a QR code. See the Activities and QR codes guide.
- Entry fees — a tournament can charge an activity's price to join. See the Charging entry fees guide.
Credits are only valid with the seller who sold them. A player who buys credits from you can't spend them with another host, and credits have no cash value of their own.
Who can sell credits
Credits are sold by hosts — you, as an organizer, selling in your own name through your Wallet. Clubs don't sell credits on Padel Fast. Your packages, activities, customers and their balances all belong to your account.
Open your dashboard and choose Credits under the Payments section of the menu. Credits appears once you've started setting up your Wallet (which requires Pro — see the Connecting your wallet guide).
Setting up payments
Players pay for packages through your own Stripe account, so the money goes straight to you. Until that account can take payments, the Packages tab shows a “Set up payments to sell credit packages” notice. You can still create activities and manage existing customers meanwhile.
Finish your wallet setup.
Tap Go to wallet on the notice and complete the Stripe onboarding. Packages can be sold as soon as Stripe allows your account to take payments.
If the notice says your payment account needs to be linked by support, tap Contact support and we'll connect it for you.
Creating a package
Open the Packages tab and tap New package.
The button is disabled until your payment account can take payments.
Name and describe it.
The name (up to 80 characters) and optional description are what players see when they buy, for example “10-pack” or “Season card”.
Set the credits and the price.
Credits is how many credits the player gets (1 to 100,000). Price is what they pay. It must be at least the minimum card charge for your currency, which the form shows below the field.
Check the currency.
Prices are in your payment account's currency. A package keeps the currency it was created in, so it can't be changed later.
Choose whether it's on sale, then tap Create package.
With “On sale (customers can buy it)” turned on, the package is available to buy right away.
Packages are taxed with your tax settings, and prices include tax unless you changed that. You set this in the Wallet's Tax (VAT) card. Whether prepaid credits are taxed when they're sold or when they're used depends on your country, so check with your accountant.
Managing your packages
The Packages tab lists every package with its credits, price and status. Above the table you'll see how many packages you have and how many are on sale.
- On sale / Hidden — flip the switch to start or stop selling a package without deleting it.
- Order — use the up and down arrows to set the order players see packages in.
- Edit — change the name, description, credits or price. Credits players already bought aren't affected.
- Delete — players can no longer buy the package. Credits they already bought stay valid, and the package stays in your records because past purchases refer to it.
If a package shows “Previous payment account”, it was created on a payment account you no longer use and is hidden from players. Choose “Recreate on your current payment account” to sell it again.
Credits don't expire. Once a player has bought them, they stay on their balance until they're spent or refunded.
Where players buy your packages
Once at least one package is on sale, players can buy it in several places:
- The Credits card on your public profile.
- Buy more, from their balance with you under My credits.
- Right when they need it — if their balance is too low to pay for an activity or an entry fee, your packages are offered on the spot.
Players pay by card in a secure Stripe checkout, and the credits land on their balance as soon as the payment clears. You get a “Credits sold” notification, and the customer appears in your Customers tab. The full player side is covered in the Buying and using credits guide.
Getting paid
Package sales are paid into your Stripe account, and Stripe pays them out to your bank. You follow sales, payouts and tax in the Wallet — see the Payouts, taxes and revenue guide.
- Padel Fast takes a small service fee on each package sale, calculated on the price excluding tax. The current percentage is shown in the Wallet.
- Spending credits, entry fees, grants and charges are free: no money moves, so no fee applies.
- If you refund a package purchase, the service fee is refunded with it — see the Managing credit customers guide.
Try it in Padel Fast.
