Credits
Activities and QR codes
Create the things players pay for with credits, print their QR codes, and see who has paid.
Overview
Activities are what players pay for with credits, for example “Open play”, “Court hour”, “Coaching session” or “Racket rental”. Each activity has a price in credits and its own QR code. Print the code and put it up at your venue: players scan it with their phone and pay from their balance in a couple of taps.
Activities are also how tournament entry fees work. A tournament's entrance fee is the price of the activity you pick — see the Charging entry fees guide.
You can create activities before your payment account is ready. Players just won't be able to buy new credits from you until it is — see the Selling credit packages guide.
Creating an activity
Open Credits and go to the Activities tab.
Credits is under the Payments section of your dashboard menu.
Tap New activity and give it a name.
The name is shown to players when they scan the code. Add an optional description if it needs explaining.
Set the price in credits.
This is how many credits are taken from the player's balance each time they pay.
Set availability (optional).
Use Available from and Available until to limit when players can pay, for example for a one-off event. Leave both empty to keep it always available.
Set a limit per customer (optional).
Max per customer caps how many times one player can pay for the activity. Leave it empty for no limit; set it to 1 to make it a one-time ticket.
Add an image (optional).
The image is shown on the payment page. PNG, JPG or WebP, up to 2 MB.
Make sure Active is on, then tap Create activity.
“Active (customers can pay for it)” controls whether players can pay. Turn it off to pause an activity — there's no delete, so pausing is how you retire one.
Printing and sharing the QR code
Every activity card shows its QR code along with its price, availability, limit and how many times it's been paid for. From the card you can:
- Print — opens a ready-to-print A5 sheet with the code and “Scan with your phone camera to pay with credits”.
- Download PNG — saves the code as an image, for your own signs or screens.
- Link — copies the payment page's link, to send in a chat or email.
Rotating a code
If a code has been shared too widely, tap Rotate code to give the activity a new one. Printed and shared copies of the old code stop working right away, so print the new one before you swap them.
What players see
Scanning the code opens a payment page with the activity's name, image, description and price. Signed-in players see their balance with you and a Pay button; they confirm the payment and see a “Paid” screen they can show you. Players who aren't signed in are asked to sign in first.
If their balance is too low, the page offers your credit packages right there, so they can top up and pay without leaving it. The full player side is covered in the Buying and using credits guide.
If you change an activity's price, players who already had the page open are asked to confirm the new price before they pay.
Seeing who has paid
Tap Redemptions on an activity card to see every payment made for it, newest first. You also get a notification each time someone pays. Every payment also appears in the customer's history and in the Transactions tab — see the Managing credit customers guide.
If someone paid by mistake, refund the credits from that customer's history in the Customers tab.
Try it in Padel Fast.
