Watch: sharing and inviting

Every tournament has a share card with a QR code and a short tournament key. Players scan the code or enter the key to open the tournament's public join page — no account details needed to view it.

Open the share card.

It shows the QR code and the tournament key. Anyone who scans the code lands on the tournament's join page.

  • QR code — best for a screen or printout at the venue.
  • Tournament key — a short code players can type in to find the tournament.
  • Link — the public join page can also be opened directly from a shared link.

2. Inviting players you follow

As the organizer you can invite people directly from your following list.

Open the invite list.

You see the people you follow who are not yet in the tournament.

Send the invite.

The player gets a notification (and a push notification if they use the app) inviting them to join. Tapping it opens the tournament.

3. Inviting a teammate

In team tournaments a player can invite someone to be their partner. This creates an invitation the other person accepts or declines.

  • Pending — the invitation has been sent and is waiting for a reply.
  • Accepted — the teammate agreed and the pair is added to the tournament.
  • Declined — the teammate turned it down.
  • Cancelled — the person who sent it withdrew the invitation.

If the tournament has already started, or requires organizer approval, accepting an invitation creates a join request for the organizer to confirm instead of adding the pair immediately.
