Watch: joining a tournament

You reach a tournament by scanning its QR code, entering its key, opening a shared link, or accepting an invitation. This opens the tournament's join page, which shows the details and current line-up.

2. Joining individually

For individual formats (like Americano or Mexicano) you can join on your own.

Tap Join.

You are added to the tournament's line-up.

  • Entry fee — if the tournament charges a fee, you pay before your spot is confirmed.
  • Organizer approval — if approval is required, your join becomes a request the organizer confirms, and any fee is handled after approval.

3. Joining as a team

Team formats need a partner. You join by pairing up with someone first.

Find a teammate.

On the join page, choose to team up and pick a partner from the people you follow or search for a player.

Send the invitation and wait for it to be accepted.

Once your partner accepts, your team is added to the tournament together. If you receive an invitation instead, accept it from the invitation card to join as that person's partner.

If the tournament has already started or requires approval, joining as a team creates a request for the organizer to confirm.
