A few years ago a small group of us set up a social padel group on Hacienda del Alamo, a golf resort in Murcia, Spain. Our membership has grown rapidly over the years, and we have a membership getting towards 200, though many dip in out of the group as they travel between their home countries and their holiday homes.

The standard of play varies enormously, and we run 4 x 90-minute padel sessions per week. Our biggest challenge has been trying to come up with a rotation system that works for all levels and clearly, the only appropriate solution is to have a grading system that enables the top four to go on one court, the next best four on another etc. However, subjectively grading players leads to disagreements, so we needed to find an app that automated the grading process based on match results that factored in the standard of the partners and opponents.

We investigated a dozen different apps before finding Padel Fast which perfectly suits our needs. In fact, it does far more than we actually need and provides it for a surprisingly affordable price. Other apps with similar capabilities charge as much for 2 months manager membership, as Padel Fast does for a year’s manager membership.

There are so many things that we love about it…

1. Being able to upload our WhatsApp group membership with telephone numbers via a spreadsheet was hugely time saving.
2. The grading system is easy to understand and easy to implement. Setting up our social sessions and deciding who plays on which court is straightforward.
3. Disagreements over player ratings will be a thing of the past.
4. Entering match scores is simple for the players.
5. Having an admin override for the match scores and player ratings is invaluable.
6. Being able to work on the app on a PC via a web platform is so much better than doing everything on a small smart phone.

Lastly, and most importantly, the customer support has been exceptional. It is speedy, helpful, patient, and informative. Being able to deal with a real person is such a relief rather than receiving endless useless AI responses to detailed questions, which seems to be the norm these days.

Overall, I am so impressed by this app and the people that developed it and am happy to give it my strongest possible recommendation. It does everything it promises and more. It is comparatively simple to use. It is a great price. And, finally, the customer support is second to none.
