Watch: restarting a season

Seasons are kept per division. The live leaderboard is the current season — there is no separate start action. When a season ends, you restart it: the standings are frozen into an archive and the table starts again from zero.

2. Restarting a season

Open the Season selector on the leaderboard.

It sits with the other leaderboard controls and lists the division's past seasons by date.

Choose Restart season (host only) and confirm.

You are asked to confirm, since this archives the current season and clears the division's linked tournaments.

Restarting does two things: it saves a snapshot of the current standings for every format the division played, and it unlinks all tournaments from the division so the live table resets to zero.

The tournaments themselves are not deleted — they keep their own results and history. Only their link to the division is cleared. A season can only be restarted if the division has at least one linked tournament.

3. Browsing past seasons

Pick any archived season from the Season selector to view its frozen table — switchable per format, with the top three marked by crowns. Past seasons are a permanent record, which makes them a natural basis for promoting and relegating players before the new season begins.
