Build any padel tournament format you can imagine

The Tournament Builder turns a handful of rules into a complete, automatically generated tournament. Recreate every built-in format — Americano, Mexicano, World Cup, Beat the Box — or invent something entirely your own, then run it exactly like any native format.

What is the Tournament Builder?

Every format in Padel Fast is really just a set of rules the generator engine follows to create rounds, pair players and rank results. The Tournament Builder hands you those same rules. You describe who is competing, how they are ranked, and the phases they play through — and the engine does the rest: pairings, schedules, standings, brackets and live scoring, on the web and in the app.

A build is a reusable format you design once and run as many times as you like.

It is powerful enough to recreate every round-generating built-in format — and to compose brand-new ones.

Tournaments run on a frozen copy of the rules, so editing a build never disturbs events already under way.

How it works

A build is made of four simple decisions. Get them right and the engine generates everything else.

1
Set the field

Choose whether people compete as individual players or fixed teams, and the minimum and maximum number of entries your format supports — from 4 players up to 200 entries.

2
Choose how it is ranked

Rank by points scored, by wins, or with a league-style match-points table (for example 3 for a win, 1 for a draw). Ranking drives seeding, advancement and regrouping.

3
Compose the phases

Stack up to three phases that play in order — a schedule, a bracket or a performance-based phase — and decide how many entries advance from one to the next.

4
Publish, run and share

Save it privately to run yourself, or publish it to the community so anyone can use it. Every tournament started from a build is counted, so the best formats rise to the top.

Three kinds of phases

Every phase is one of three engines. Combine them to build almost anything.

Pre-determined

Schedule

The whole schedule is generated up front. Rotate partners and opponents so everyone plays with as many people as possible, run a classic round robin, or hand-write the exact match grid yourself.

Rotating partners, round robin, or a custom seat-by-seat grid
Optional group play for fixed teams — within or across groups
Cap the number of rounds, and seed by draw, standings or list order
Elimination

Bracket

Winners advance, losers are out — until one entry remains. Re-pair survivors from the standings each round for a knockout, keep winning pairs together for a classic doubles bracket, or add a consolation bracket so no one is out after a single match.

Single-elimination down to one winner
Optional consolation (plate) bracket for first-round losers
Seed from the draw, the standings, or a previous phase
Performance based

Dynamic

Each round is generated from the results so far. Regroup the courts by standings after every round (Mexicano), move winners up and losers down the courts (Winning Lane), or split the field into boxes that reshuffle as players climb (Beat the Box).

Regroup by standings, court movement, or boxes
Best-with-worst or balanced pairings inside each court
Run open-ended, or for a set number of rounds

See it in action

These live previews are drawn by the very same engine the app uses — each one is a real build. The diagrams show a sample field; the actual schedule always adapts to the players who sign up.

The building blocks

Four ingredients combine into any format.

Participants

Individual players who are re-paired each round, or fixed pairs that stay together the whole way through. Set the entry bounds and the engine adapts the schedule to whoever signs up.

Ranking

Points scored, win count, or a configurable match-points table. The scoreboard it produces is what seeds draws, decides who advances and re-forms the courts.

Phases

One to three stages played in order. Mix a group stage with a knockout, or run a single rotation — each phase carries its own rules.

Advancing

Between phases, carry forward the top of the standings or only the round winners — overall, or a set number from every group for a World-Cup-style bracket.

Recreate every built-in — or invent your own

Anything the generator can do, a build can express. These native formats are all just builds under the hood:

Mexicano
Round Robin
Knockout
World Cup
Winning Lane
Beat the Box

Keep it private, or share it with the community

Every build starts private — visible only to you, ready to tweak and run. Publish it and it joins the community catalog, where anyone can browse it, save a copy into their own Builder, and run it. Builds are ranked by how often they are used, so the formats people love rise to the top.
