Watch: managing divisions

Divisions are your league's skill levels, with Division 1 at the top. Each division has its own players, teams, linked tournaments, leaderboard and seasons. The number of divisions (up to 10) is set when the league is created.

2. Opening division management

Tap Manage next to the division selector.

On the league page, the leaderboard area has a division selector; the Manage action (host only) opens the division management panel with a tab per division.

Rename a division if needed.

Each division tab has a name field with a Save button.

3. Adding players to a division

Switch to the Players view and expand Add players.

You see league members (and your roster players) who are not yet in the division — tap Add next to each player you want in.

A player can be moved between divisions but plays in one division's standings at a time. Adding them to the right level up front keeps the leaderboard meaningful.

4. Adding teams to a division

For team-based league play, switch to the Teams view. Name the team, pick exactly two players, and add it. The two players get a notification that they've been added to the team.

5. Promotion and relegation

Open the menu next to any player or team in a division to move them between levels:

  • Promote — moves them one division up (e.g. Division 3 → Division 2).
  • Demote — moves them one division down.
  • Remove — takes them out of the division (they stay a league member).

Promotion and relegation are decided by you — typically at the end of a season based on the final standings. Nothing moves automatically.
